PDK or manual. With or without PSE. This is the exhaust that brings the 991’s 3.4L to life without sacrificing Porsche refinement.

The Switchpath Exhaust:

This is the finest exhaust available for the Porsche 991 Carrera and Carrera 4. Period.

Engineered for drivers who want it all more power, more sound, and more control—the AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust unlocks the full character of the 991. Featuring integrated valves that respond to factory ECU commands, the SwitchPath system delivers two personalities in one: raw and rowdy when you’re on it, reserved and composed when you’re not.

In Sport mode or under heavy throttle: The valves open, bypassing the side mufflers and unleashing a Cup Car-like soundtrack.

In Normal mode or under light throttle: The valves close, routing flow through the side mufflers for a deep, signature AWE tone that’s just a touch more assertive than stock.

The AWE SwitchPath Exhaust retains all PSE button functionality and was developed on both PDK and manual 991s for perfect compatibility across the board. And because it maintains all factory emissions equipment and utilizes the stock side mufflers for valve actuation, the SwitchPath is completely street legal and drone-free under cruising conditions.
